Growing up as a nerd, wasn't it always difficult to kind of fit in?

It seemed like I never belonged anywhere except with my other nerdy friends. I would see other guys get the girls, the opportunities, while I didn't get much out of life.

Not going to lie, life kind of sucked. I was frustrated with why I couldn't get the things I wanted. I was smart and had good qualities but nothing seemed to go my way.

I lived like this for years, wondering what is it that I was missing. And then after some more yeats of contemplating and forcing myself out of my comfort zone, I realized that I was missing self-confidence.

I was missing the confidence to take risks, missing the confidence to ask girls out, missing the confidence to stand up for myself.

Every time I went back to see why I wasn't enjoying my life, it came down to not having any confidence. Especially when you're a nerd, it can be tough to have the self-confidence to live a fulfilling life.

Listen, you already have great qualities as a person, that's not even up for debate. You just need to overcome the self-doubt that comes in. I get it, I've had my fair share of self -doubt that has held me back from doing many things, like asking out girls that were obviously interested in me, but being too scared of rejection; taking a great work opportunity, but I was too scared to fail. 

In life, the self-doubt is going to be there, but you can overcome it when you have a solid foundation for your confidence. If a poor chump like me can do it, so can you (just need some guidance).
